Just wanted to say the new web design looks great.
See you in June!

I attended the TSPBF on November 10, 2007, for the first time. I was pleased and thrilled to find a venue in Toronto where people could exhibit their works with pride. The street outside the small book fair buzzed with energy and excitement and inside the church people were talking happily to each other, sharing stories about their work and even enjoying musical performances. Atteneding the small press fair was a great treat and an eye opener to the vibrant literary community that exists in Toronto. Congratulations to Myna Wallin and Halli Villegas for organizing this fantastic event. Looking forward to next year!

You and Halli certainly worked hard on that fair to make it the success it was.

Just wanted to say I had a great time at the fair! There were so many awesome people tabling and going around. Small Press is 100% my favourite book event in the city. Keep up the good work!

I had a great time at the SPBF! Got to sit behind a table -- first time for me. I was totally inspired by the energy of Halli & Myna. They were all over the fair on Saturday. And their volunteers were fabulous! I'm looking forward to the next fair in June. And if they need more volunteers -- I'm in!

As always I had a blast! I think people tend to forget how much work goes on behind the scenes! Which is also a good thing, if all they see is a well run machine! Halli and Myna you both ROCK!

I had a fab time, though I think my tiara was too tight! People actually came to my reading (thanks Cynthia for reeling people in!), and I actually made more money at this Press Fair than in any other year I've had a table... A good time, all in all!

Thank you for letting me be your "Wild Card" at the fair yesterday. You were terrific!
You've obviously done a lot of really good work to make such a powerful event happen so efficiently and smoothly.
Thanks also to Cynthia of Hi-Heels for her fab hosting. Could we please have more people like that in the world?
Thank you thank you thank you!

I just wanted to say that I was one of the readers at the most recent small press fair, and I had a great experience. I thought having the readings during the fair was a great idea, which Myna and Halli should be commended upon. I sold five books as a result of that readings and I know other writers who read that day had comparable successes. I liked being able to drop in on the readings, listen to a few poems, check out books and then come back and listen to, say, a story. It gave the event an added layer and richer dynamic. The band was fun as well.
For what it's worth.
